'''Elon University''' is an American private, non-sectarian, coeducational liberal arts university with a historic 636-acre campus in Elon, North Carolina. Founded by the United Church of Christ in 1889, the institution has grown to include studies in a wide variety of disciplines. As of 2016-2017, the university had 6,008 undergraduate students and 731 graduate students.
